Stainless Steel Cookware Risk

Aluminum pots and pans on the ground?

Do you think cookware stainless steel with an aluminum core is safe? I'm worried about the links between aluminum and Alzheimer's disease. Also, if anyone has heard about the health risks of using non-stick varieties of pans? I have not, but I would like to know if anyone else has.

Aluminum cores are fine. They are wrapped in stainless steel (sure), or stacked inside stainless steel. Aluminum is one of the most common elements in the world. We are exposed to it more than you can count. Links to Alzheimer's disease inconclusive. From what I understand, non-stick pans are acceptable as long as you do not overheat and cause the material to burn (you can smell the fumes when overheated). I use mine with medium, such as tortillas or grilled cheese sandwiches, but never for searing a steak.
