What are the liquid and dry measures for Ronco pasta maker?
I "inherited" a Ronco pasta maker, but missing measuring cups and Ronco does not sell accessories for it. Thanks
I have no answer. However, just so you know, the only difference between a measure liquid and dries as a measure of fluid has a peak at it, a dry measure is flat on top so it can be leveled. 1 cup measure and a cup fluid from a measure of both have exactly the same volume of 8 ounces of liquid. Some people mistakenly believe that a dry measure uses a different type of Oz. Do not let the term "fluid ounce" to lose. A fluid ounce is simply a name for a unit volume. No matter if the ingredient in the cup is a liquid or dry ingredient. For example, one cup of flour holds 8 fl. oz .. If you weigh a cup of flour on a scale that will weigh about 4 oz .. Also, a cup sifted flour weighs much less than a cup of unsifted flour.
