Italian food has always been my default meal when I could not think of anything else to cook. But now I have the KitchenAid Pasta KPEX set, I would say that cooking Italian food has risen to an actual event. It has become a real difference to my Italian kitchen and the way our family eats.
The KPEX KitchenAid Pasta Set is a set of chrome devices that connect to the right in front of your KitchenAid mixer. Using the homemade pasta dough you make in your mixer, you can use your KitchenAid engine to run the dough through these appliances, making fresh pasta instantly ready to cook.
If you have never truly enjoyed fresh homemade pasta, then you really have idea of what Italian food is. As soon as I started to spin my own fettuccini and lasagna noodles, my family could not wait for "Italian night." In fact, it seems we're having Italian food more often these days, because they want to try all different types of pasta that this set is.
The KPEX KitchenAid Pasta Excellence Set includes a highly versatile tools for all types of pastas, including ravioli attachment so you can make your own ravioli exotic and creative. Although you have to say that the ravioli cutter is not very easy to use as accessories. It is a manual rather than automatic locking, but I guess that makes sense. It took a good number will reach a stage where I was doing ravioli that was happy, and I've heard that some people have struggled ravioli with accessory too.
Having the Kitchenaid do very good start – and the manufacturer actually makes spaghetti spaghetti ROUND, not just tagliatini little noodle-like planes. The dough will come out of the KPEX KitchenAid Pasta Set is nothing like what you buy at the supermarket – that's a guarantee!
Also is important to read the instructions carefully. When I started using the pasta excellence set KPEX attachments keeps going round and round. It was only after read all instructions correctly that I realized just insert each attachment enough in the mixer to low-pin in the pulp mill fitting into the slot near the screw. IF you do not do that, you go round and round.
If I had to recommend one product in my kitchen, probably KPEX would KitchenAid Pasta Set. This set of pasta has made a huge difference in my cooking, and most importantly, the way my family loves to eat.
