I do not drink too much coffee but when I did I like the rich dark beer. You can not beat the French press for the production of Robusta coffee – especially if using freshly ground coffee. Great coffee … but Marijuana can be dangerous!
I love my Bodum coffee press and coffee was … until two weeks ago, when the pot broke while pressing my coffee! Because wearing only a shirt, had little protection from the boiling water. Results: 1 st and 2 nd degree burns to the abdomen, face a visit to the emergency room, a very painful couple of days, 2 weeks of unpleasant dressing changes twice daily over an area of about 12 inches x 4 inches.
So I warn all users, PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW SAFETY RULES FOR USE! Enjoy your coffee down, but not fighting Press when you paste – like me – and do not push harder – as I. To add insult to my (very personal) injury, I have to clean up my coffee-covered roof, the floor, cabinets, countertops – and everything in them. However, I could not remove all stains from coffee, but remain as a testimony of my carelessness. Of course, my news next will be a stainless steel pot!

This coffee is excellent news! The coffee is always fresh and excellent. Dumping soil, wet beans is not the prettiest or easiest to do After the pot is empty, but the discomfort is nothing compared to a great cup of coffee!

For the money, a French is a great way to go. This has been impeccable (I've had a couple of months). More reviews and recommendations:
I prefer to buy coffee grounds (Thickness, of course) instead of grinding it myself, because my Capresso grinder spits a bit of dust that "muddies the water", so to speak, when used a French press.
The instructions say to have the plunger mechanism, apart every time to clean, but I find it much easier to loosen only rotating parts of the bar, and while releasing the water can run through the pieces to clean them very effectively. This only takes a few seconds.
I wish I had an easier way to get the land passed out of the bottom, but this is the case with all French presses. I fill the press about 3 / 4 of the way with water and then cup my hand on the lid and shake, and dump the dirt in the backyard.
I considered a Technivorm Moccamaster Drip coffee (a friend has and produces a better tasting coffee I've had), but the $ 300 price was too strong for me. Someday, maybe. For now, this $ 20 Bodum is very slippery.

I am truly amazed at the way this product has revolutionized my thinking about coffee consumption. Y is too simple a concept! Like many people, I used a small machine for years to automatic drip brewing. However, never tasted so good as you could get to walk over to Starbucks and local cafes. I finally gave up on making my own coffee. For me, coffee has always been to forge a minutes of my day to slow down and enjoy the sight, smell and taste of wine. drip coffee? Do not cut.
After doing some research financial and discover how much was happening in the local Starbucks every month, I thought there had to be a way to make my daily beer at home and have it taste too. My first idea was to buy one of those machines Keurig single cup of coffee with the pre-measured inserts. However, the environmentalist in me cringed at the view that all individual packages. Coffee purists I hesitated at the idea of using pre-packaged, ground coffee. Thus, after walking through Target in one of those "spending money more than I do, because everything here is awesome" trip, I decided to try this Bodum 8 – "cup" (Cup, Bodum being 4 ounces Earth) French press.
Following instructions, I had my first beer of the morning coffee, and honestly, it was the best homemade coffee I've tried. It is so good and far superior to drip coffee quality, taste, texture and aroma, I would not hesitate to say that coffee is pressed an entire genre unto itself. I probably lack the vocabulary to explain how coffee tastes. It's just better, plain and simple. It's smooth, complex and very tasty.
Wonderful product. Easy to clean, easy to use, and produces a cup of coffee than anyone else. You look clean.
