Make ice cream in a Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker?
I made two batches so far (no cream base and a cooked base). Both have proven well, but not creamy. They have the approximate consistency of frozen milk. In a recipe that uses two cups of whole milk and two cups of cream, cream recipe a second glass of whole milk and two large cups. Therefore, I do not think I lack in butterfat contetn. After running the prescribed time machine – about 25 minutes to freeze the soft ice cream. Any combination suggestions? Can be frozen too fast? Should I let the mixture to spend more on machine and less freezing in the freezer?
Actually it has everything to do with grease. If the butterfat content was higher than wouldnt freeze as ice. You water has infiltrated your mix at some point that the cause of his ice cream to freeze well. Go to a market of health food and get "not homogenized" whole milk and cream. It should work better.
