Ice Cream Maker Kit
refrigerator ice maker Fridgedaire intermittent operation.?
My parents have a Fridgedaire refrigerator with ice maker installed on it. The ice maker was an aftermarket kit installed after the unit was in place for a few years. A few weeks ago I went to planning your home to move the refrigerator, turn off the water and release the water supply line, water again to see if the line is connected, etc. When I was getting "things" form in preparation for access into the back of the fridge when my father opened the freezer door to discover he had started making ice again. I was a little more there again today and it has stopped making ice again. Has the cooling coils mounted on the rear of the cabinet that are pretty much sealed my mother wiped them frequently. Despite making ice for a couple of weeks to a month, my father says has not frozen as hard as before. It also says that the fan seems to run much more. The stuck on defrost cycle? Any appliance repair guys out there?
Although the freezer has coils in the rear, make sure there is nothing stuck in the fridge, defrost some systems a ventilation system that vents in the fridge on some models-especially since you mentioned moving things to get back. Make sure the products in the freezer are'nt full arm lock detection factory ice, you have to move through too full cycle.Also.if freezers, cold air will not circulate properly, soft ice cream.Sorry not a type of service occurred.
