This may sound like a silly question really, but when using a machine for making ice cream and the addition rock salt — is the rock salt to buy in the supermarket of the same rock salt to buy giant bags for the poor on the sidewalk in the winter? Just wondering, because that would save tons of $ $!
It is the same salt. My aunt used to make ice cream all the time and constantly having to go to the store to buy salt. So I decided to go to your local store and buy a big bag of rock salt. Definitely saved some money.
