Have you ever made "ice milk" – (less dense ice cream)?!?

I wanted to make ice cream with whole milk and flavorings. I have researched online and came up with "ice milk" – basically, whole milk, sugar and vanilla. The recipe was for an ice cream maker, which is what to use. I'm trying to get away with omitting the cream, and eggs usually called for in recipes for ice cream. Has anyone done the milk and ice can tell you how I solved it. Also if someone has made ice cream without eggs, which would actually be a recipe similar to ice milk. Any tips, recipes, or advice would be appreciated! Thx. ;)

STRAWBERRY ICE MILK ICE MILK: 2 pints strawberries, chopped 1 / 2 c. 2 tablespoons sugar. fresh lemon juice 1 c. low-fat milk RASPBERRY SAUCE: 1 (oz 12) bag frozen raspberries, thawed, mashed, sifted 2 tbsp. sugar 1 / 4 c. Make water ice milk: In a food processor, Puree ingredients. Place in a greased 9-inch, freeze 2 hours or until firm. Break into 1-inch pieces. Process until smooth. Soft serve ice cream or frozen until firm. Make the sauce in a bowl, mix the ingredients. Makes 8 servings.
