Cookware silicone utensils – Why silicone utensils are a great choice for your kitchen
silicone kitchenware are increasingly and more popular nowadays. I was in my favorite gourmet cookware store and had a pretty good display of kitchen utensils and silicone.
What happens is that I was looking to replace an old basting brush that I had. I've never had any luck with basting brushes, no matter how they were made. I used brushes Natural and nylon bristles, which never seems to hold up well or last very long.
I decided to take a silicone basting brush while I was there. One advantage that immediately picked up on this cookware is what seemed to be quite flexible and does not need to worry about dumping or burning pigs. Also work well with non-stick cookware, as they are soft and flexible and not damage the nonstick surface. They work well with traditional kitchen games too.
The next day I threw some ribs on the grill, and decided to try this new silicone brush. Well let me tell you, this basting brush very well worked. Held the barbecue sauce was using to baste the ribs better than any other traditional brush I have ever used. It is also dishwasher safe and cleaned well in the dishwasher.
This gourmet cookware store also had a pretty good selection of silicone bakeware and other kitchen utensils. Now I do not know if this type of cookware is suitable for all kitchen uses, but it's definitely worth a look and evaluate on a case by case.
Since he was pleased with the way this worked simple basting brush I will definitely be looking at other silicone utensils such as spoons, spatulas and other kitchen utensils.
What I've learned about silicone cookware is that it is totally a non-stick cookware. Some manufacturers this type of cookware and bakeware still recommend that low-fat or flour before using.
Some of the advantages of utensils Silicone cookware and bakware is that they are stain resistant, dishwasher safe, do not retain odors or flavors and cools quickly.
