What to bring when moving to a foreign country
Preparing to move to another country, what should I bring? What will have to eat? I heard they eat each other not!
These questions and many more appear when you are considering moving to another country. My stepmother asked us "what you eat. "For us it was a funny question, but she was serious.
It seems that somehow the U.S. media has portrayed in any another country on the planet as dangerous world, or poor, or fifth, and I could tell. It's not really true. Why do it? Well, I have my suspicions, but I will save that for another article. In fact, we now live in Peru and I've never felt safer in my life. So really what you eat?
Peru it is difficult to food. Why? There are so healthy and good food here almost forced to not eat as much. Example: We love a dish that a woman in the kitchen the street every night, is called "Dad sausages" Now, a hot dog cost 4 soles Pope, and here's what you get for your $ 1.30. A piece of chicken, usually a leg and thigh, or 1 / 2 of a breast, noodles with some sauce a bit special about him, Chinese rice, fries, hot dogs and cut into slices. Actually its pair of sterling great tasting food and more than enough for dinner.
Another of our favorites is Pope Fill. Its basically mashed potatoes with fried meat and vegetables the middle and deep, the parties here are about two of his fists, the cost of 70 cents. That America is about money 0.25 cents. So now we know there are a lot of food in foreign countries.
What to bring. Clothing depending on weather. I do not trust the books of travel, google "forums expatriates (What countries would like to move to) will open a community of Americans who can relate to, and they will tell the real climate where you are thinking about moving. In fact, it will help out with most things
We always bring the following when we returned to Peru. We bought two computers Portable in the U.S. states, which are very expensive here, so either use or resell them to help offset travel expenses. Tampons for my wife. Clothing to suit weather conditions. Our espresso machine, also known as the type of vacuum. We also bring vitamin, peroxide, and some antihistamines aerosol (trust me if you are plugged into an airplane that I thank you immensely to the suggestion of an antihistamine)
We also carry food in a package because the food in the air transport sector is very expensive and not always think of when you want to feed. Your passport, of course, is necessary, and be sure to carry a second ID such as driver's license ID or whatever you can. The banks require ID to two times as if you need have a money order sent to you.
You must have a bank card that is able to withdraw money from an ATM, most foreign countries ATMs are now and you can get where you are.
We also put in place a backup in case of low atm. Ours is a card PayPal with enough money to carry more than 3 or 4 months old.
So grab your hat, and a laptop, jump in the air spirit (9 rates dollar) and get to the adventure of a lifetime.
I forgot, if not ignorance of the language as a translator will place a hand franklin is invaluable ….. but do not buy a computer based language program, you will be able to get one in your going for a dollar or two
