This is an excellent coffee. I find it hard to believe that the other reviewers are reviewing the same product. We had this coffee maker over 1 year and never had a problem with it. Here is the truth characteristics:
1. Despite what other reviewers said, this coffee is very hot! I have a much greater tolerance for hot food and drink (the temperature wise) of my girlfriend. When you pour a cup, I can not take a sip of one minute. It takes about 5 minutes before my girlfriend can take a sip. Maybe it's because we use skim milk coffee powder (instead of cold milk) because there is no liquid to dilute the coffee comes out creamier, and is healthier. My guess would be the other reviewers add a large amount of cold milk and cream for coffee.
2. The coffee maker heater in pan for 2 hours after the coffee is made to enough time to enjoy a cup and put the rest in the refrigerator for later.
3. Gold reusable filter is large, there is no need to buy / waste those paper. Simply download the ground, rinse and wash and reuse.
4. The coffee is relatively fast. I've never timed, but I just made 10 cups of coffee and took 5 minutes or less. For some reason, 12 cups seems to have a little more, maybe 10 minutes, but just make sure if you use the timer, is set during 10 minutes before waking up.
5. Odorless and leak with ours.
6. The timer option is great, but there are 3 small problems with it. First Instead, it takes forever to set the clock – if it is 10:00 at night, you have to hold for a LONG time. My suggestion is to stay until midnight and unplug machine, then plug it in and the clock is dead =). Second, the clock is hard to see – which is not backlit and is quite dim, I do not think this will be the master clock in the kitchen. Thirdly, and this is not the fault of the coffee machine, if you lose power and forget to reset the clock the timer is still off at the scheduled time, it is no longer accurate. The other morning I woke up and it is estimated that the coffee was made at 11:00 of the last night! Then, of course, you have the problem of resetting the clock ….
7. Front access is a great feature – we have pushed to the back corner of our counter and cabinets.
8. The only problem I see is that after a few months, coffee residue accumulates in the water compartment in the rear. If viewed with a flashlight, you can find some residue of coffee that is difficult to access. We usually use a damp paper towel and a small hand to reach it and stroke. I'm not entirely sure how to get there, but it does. Hopefully it does not rust.
In general, a large coffee. The coffee is very well and I recommend it to anyone!

We bought this coffee maker at Target (cheaper on Amazon) and have had less than 90 days. I never seemed to make the coffee very hot and now the burner has stopped working all together. I liked the feature front access, but other than that it was a waste of money.

i purchased this item because it was all I could find at the time with front-loading function, at a reasonable price. it's nice not having to pull machine under the cabinets every day just to add water and coffee. I have been using this coffeemaker daily for over a year with zero problems. have brewing aroma produces a good cup of strong coffee. carafe does not drip when pouring. my only minor complaint is that the measuring cup from the jug does not appear match the water level in the machine. I judge by reading the pitcher and large coffee flavors. Some comments mentioned that the coffee is not enough hot, but have not found this to be a problem at all. In general, I recommend this product.

DeLonghi age had for almost a decade and have been very pleased with that. My husband widely used. This new design is a definite improvement because we can access everything we need from the front. This makes it easier to clean, and easier used in our crowded kitchen.
After my husband's love of coffee may cause flights to break in 9 months or so, who squandered a DeLonghi, and saved money!

I have always had a pot SpaceSaver granting under my cabinet. After the last 4 was broken at some point I bought this year from Delonghi fill. My husband built a platform slide out drawer under of this same cabinet and WOW what a difference .. This pot really cooks.
