Are there dishes that should not be cooked in utensils made of stainless steel?
I just got a new set of stainless steel pots and pans. If there are some dishes that should not be cooked in them? Any secrets that nobody wants to share about the use of this new cookware? I've always had nonstick pans. I've learned that you need to cook at a lower cooking temperature than iron non-stick or cast. Containers get really hot! Thanks in advance for handedly!
Stainless steel should be fine for anything you cook. To keep things from sticking, pre-heat the pan, then add the oil. (Pan + hot oil = cold food does not stick) Now, the aluminum molds have to be careful not to cook foods with high acid content (such as tomato sauce or sauerkraut), because they cause a reaction that releases aluminum in foods, and corrodes the pan.
