I own this item for a month. Use every day! It is absolutelly great! Especially if you have a baby. There is no need for food. It cooks for himself and goes off when done. I LOVE IT!

My last "shot" is rice cookers. I love "food bowl" and I learned I can cook a pot of delicious, interesting and healthy meals, even using rice cookers. You can pay much more for a fuzzy logic rice cooker, but this little baby works perfectly. I'm also making steel cut oatmeal in it so it is not just for rice. The tasty rice Select (Texmati varieties) come to perfection in it too. Fuzzy Logic for me means it's basically very hard to make a bad meal. Only negative I can see is the rice cooker cup capacity is 5.5. If you have a large family you might have one with a higher capacity, but it makes a lot of rice. I also bought a 8 cup on / off / hot manufacturer ricer Aroma from Amazon and am very happy with the brand as well. There is a rice cookbook Amazon Cajun recipes whose best work in the on / off / warm rice cooker.
