Dutch oven and history
A brief survey of the pot and its history reveal a famous cooking pot made of cast iron and has been popular in large part of the history of the United States, to cite one country where it was used. While many people in the U.S. know that a particular version of the oven has been used here for some time, many of them do not really know who has been employed as a means to cook food for hundreds of years. Not long after the Dutch had finally perfected the design and then set the oven that was proposed to start exporting to other countries, and sent a large number of them over to Britain. In 1708, English has developed a version of its own and began marketing it to its own people, and their American colonies.
Over longer in the United States, the oven began to take a slightly different from its original design. Entrepreneurs responsible furnace in the colonies added legs the bottom of the pot so it could be put on a bed of coals while the pot itself was shallow.
