Coffee maker problems? My coffee suddenly started tasting funny?
I have a very good Cuisinart Brew Central DCC-1200 coffee. It is 4 years old. However, I bought some coffee off the mark and only tasted horrible, Kindy taste watery and weird. I thought was the mark. I bought my regular brand, quality Maxwell House French Roast, but still has a strange taste – kind of mold. I washed the filter and the plastic support under the filter and prepared a pot of hot water and still tastes that way. Any ideas? Vinegar, thanks guys!
When the hot water and coffee comes out, unscrew small cap. Get a nylon cable tie about 8 "long tube and beer, going around that. As mentioned earlier, run vinegar through it several times. Rinse with fresh water. That should take care of it.
