You can boil the vegetable oil?
Well, for that mater, what can not boil liquids at high temperatures, such as a coffee machine. I trying to figure out a science experiment which fluids can be run through a coffee strainer and not put out any steam or very little at all. I know which are designed to water stress, but the seams where much water is left out in the form of water vapor, and am trying to minimize this effect. THANKS!
Any substance which theoretically can boil at a temperature high enough, since the boiling point is simply a change from one state (liquid) to another (gas). However, many liquids can be boiled into a virtual experimental set of fans. Vegetable oil is one of them. You may have trouble run the oil through a sieve however, because the oil molecules can be lengthy and complex. There is also the danger of injury to oneself, as oil exceed the boiling point of water and severe burns.
