new resistance does not work in my coffee?

The wire is broken inside the insulation and the problem is not usually visible, but sometimes the wrong place will be more flexible or floppy the rest of the rope. Get an ohm meter and check continuity of the cord and all the switches, thermostats, and the link fusable (looks like a diode another person is described)
