I bought this coffee machine over a year. Yet it works very well. Keeps coffee hot. How long you expect to keep your coffee hot enough to burn your lips? All these whiners need pay much money for a coffee $ 200-300. $ 70. to make a cup of great tasting coffee, you do not have to worry about forgetting to turn off or get burnt coffee, and the thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for hours … then very hot after that. All that is being poured in water is a bit complicated .. but learn how to turn your arm just right, and love in me, would buy another in a second.

I'm much happier with this machine coffee, which it replaces (A Cuisinart Grind and Brew). It's so easy to use, unlike the previous one was time and labor VERY necessary. Whoever buy a Cuisinart coffee maker should pay attention to the warnings of many of the guests who talk about the time necessary to wash the grinder after use with each wheel and Brew. Buy a grinder if you prefer cheap grain, and the purchase of this model.
The only negative thing I have of this model is that the water fill level is not clearly marked, and the transfer of water through the decanter is hampered by its cover. Otherwise, it is a great machine, fast!

When you purchase a coffee maker has two options. Get one with a glass jar or a metal pot with thermal insulation. If you go the route of the glass container glass loses quickly heat the hot plate stays on to compensate. The problem with this is after 15 minutes, the coffee gets bruised too much heat and lose flavor. The route turns off the hot metal plate and retains the heat with special insulating glass design can not. A thermal insulation professionals hold heat better than 5 hours. Insulated coffee thermos as you get with this model are not as good and you can only do a good job keeping heat for 2 hours in my opinion. Some reviews said this design is kept hot for 5 hours.

* 3 year warranty. My old Krups broke after a year and it came with no guarantees.
* Insulated carafe to keep coffee hot fresh flavor all tribulation.
* The carbon filter water filter built in bad taste in tap water before mixing with coffee.
* The timer option so that light and beer at any time of day. Tested out and work as intended. Matter preparation starts right when I wake up. Purists say coffee coffee should remain sealed before brewing so let the rest not in the close air machine with this feature would violate that principle. I k = tastes good.
* It has a function for brewing 5 cups + 4 cups or less. This will set the hot plate accordingly. Cheapo coffee makers have a setting hot plate set, no matter how much liquid is in the jar. So if your brewing least may burn if you were developing the maximum amount the jar can hold that heat just right.
* Beaps when coffee is ready to serve.
* Machine to sell for under $ 100, but most machines that come with these features
Cons
* The pitcher can always keep your coffee hot and fresh for 2 hours, but after that I have to microwave. Usually only need a 2 hour window which is not a problem for me.
* Space close to water inside the machine. I use a cup measure to pour, otherwise the water spilling over the side of the machine.
* Timer have not intuitive.
Having to make it yourself and preparation for any time the system is not intuitive to understand and instruction book does not explain well. After maybe eight minutes of monkeying around, I realized how use all the features it offered.
* 10 cup max. Some machines can brew 12 cups. I will never have a party for 10 or 12 so it could import less.

Great coffee every morning
I love my new thermal coffee maker Cuisnart. I took the hint in other reviews and always turn in the cup 4 option for the warmer water. In this way, I prepare the coffee the night before and let the counter preparation time each morning. The thermal carafe keeps it hot enough for me all morning. Some complained that it is difficult to fill. I have a plastic cup two a measuring cup that falls within the unit to remove the coffee basket and then tilts and pours without any problem. For me this has been a great buy and I would recommend to anyone looking for a new coffee maker. The Amazon price was the best I've found. JWL
