Coffee Maker Cuisinart Dcc 1200
Making coffee with coffee kitchen item?
I've had two failed attempts to make coffee with this coffee: The http://www.cuisinart.com/parts/coffee_bar/dcc-1200.html first time I did not use a filter because I thought the next with little, and gave me less than a cup of watery coffee that rang signaling it was made, and the filter is filled with water and ground coffee. So I dumped out and tried again, this time putting a filter and do the same thing. Only beeps when it is "done", but the small amount of coffee that comes out is very watery and the water is just floating in the filter at the top. Please help? Thanks! What is the filter housing and the jar? I'm dumb device =
There is a flap device, or "check valve" between the filter housing and the jar. Not open if the jar is not in the crib. Sounds like a) the trap is stuck closed, or b) the pitcher is wrong and non- trap shooting open or closed lock, or c) there is a piece of crap stuck in the hole at the base of the filter housing.
