Makes good coffee, but gags water (plastic column design), in a well it is difficult to see the water level – especially when you are cooking several cups (or, if the tick marks). Just a bad design. Otherwise, it is a large coffee maker.

In general I like this product, however, the coffee is not hot enough … and drink my coffee black.

Good coffee, good features – reliability questionable
Our first Cuisinart began to fail right in the warranty period of 3 years. We could not turn on using the lever switch on the front – but you can still make coffee using the timer. That lasted about a year until the controls stopped working altogether. Since we only use our coffee on Saturdays and Sunday, this works out to about 400 pots of coffee before the failure – or about $ 0.20/pot. The coffee is replaced Mr. was 10 years and cost 3.1 as much – or $ 0.03/pot which is what I consider reasonable. However, because all the good characteristics and good coffee, I decided to give this unit a second chance. If this is misbehavior begins at 3 years, I'm done with Cuisinart.

Good coffee – hard to accurately measure water quantity
Coffee is good, but the design of water gague (entered plastic column) inside the wells makes it difficult to see the water level – especially if you are brewing a pair of glasses (which is where the tick marks). Just a bad design. Otherwise it is a great coffee.

An easy recommendation
This coffee is a great combination of clean design and ease of use also makes a great coffee. It looks great and feels solid despite the switches feel a little cheap. The controls are well laid out and easy to find out how get up and make a good cup of coffee without having to open the instructions. The extra heat setting for making 1-4 cups is a nice feature and makes a noticeable difference. I almost dropped the rating to 4 stars by the way the water tank is configured. It can be a little harder than it should be to fill the tank without spilling a little. That's a minor inconvenience in what is otherwise a major manufacturer of some coffee.

Easy to operate
After passing through the coffee makers several in recent years, including Starbucks Barista Grand, seem to have a blow which does not hinder, has few unnecessary bells and whistles, and makes a pot of coffee very fast. I like the feature that allows the preparation of 1-4 cups of coffee. This is very useful when a whole pot is not necessary. I also like the setup variable temperature to keep the hot pot. This machine does not have a thermos of coffee, which is a good thing. The last two managers we've had with flasks caused occasionally overflows, filling our kitchen drawer with the coffee. This is a good coffee machine around which costs an arm and a leg.

I have spent by quite a few coffee makers at home. Heck, even a coffee shop owner with the team of brewing high-end Bunn. So I say, This coffee ROCKS!. I've had it for a year. No trouble. No water dripping on the counter when filling. N overflowing and dumping of coffee in the counter. Only and brewed coffee. Almost as good as my commercial beer.
