Is there a way to connect a solar panel to a small machine?
I wondered if I could take one of the cheap solar can panals battery power car, and somehow connect it to a microwave oven or coffee or something? Is there any other easier way do this. The overall objective is to not use electricity.
Sure you can use a solar panel and dump the output to a 12V battery bank as an example. However, need an inverter that converts 120VAC 12DC in so you can run your toaster. The cheapest cheaper / investors will give you a simple (bipolar) square wave. using switching transformer. Then there are those who have stepped waveform (4 steps with a minimum of a party other than zero) and very expensive to offer a wave sinusoidal. The latter is basically a DC amplifier with a 60Hz sine oscillator to drive the power section. The sine wave may also result from a signal digital with various numbers of steps. EDIT means that anyone using an investor knows that it can power a microwave oven 500 watts with a 100W inverter.
