Should I buy cookware nonstick stainless steel? I do not cook very well.?
Whereas hard anodized aluminum Rachael Ray: http://www.amazon.com/Rachael-Ray-10-Piece-Hard-Anodized-Cookware/dp/B000HTW7NW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1266299964&sr = 8 Unison -1 O Calphalon set. Or maybe I should get stainless steel?
Get the stainless steel. With him, the abuse, you do not have to be so concerned about what type of utensils used and really not that hard to clean. I think it's easier because you have a past and not be so flourishing careful not to scratch it. Do not use steel wool, wool, glossy or SOS pads. All they do is zero and is more likely that the bread from sticking. Get a can of Friend Barkeeper. It is a powdered cleaner like scouring powder but not so hard. It's cheap, lasts a long time and does great things in the metal! When you get something burning, let the pan cool, wet and / or rinse which can make hot water. Dump the water and sprinkle in a generous bartender. Brush the back with a sponge (get one with the nylon washer on one side). And walk for 10-15 minutes, come back and give it a good scrub, a quick wash and rinse and go. Once hot stainless steel, will have to lower the temperature. Stainless also give you a better sear on things like burgers, steaks, chops. And if you get the kind that have all metal handles can go right into the oven. I often cook pork for burning them at the top of the stove and then pop in the oven to finish cooking. A good set of stainless will last for years and years. Nonstick will be lucky to get a couple of years off. Stainless is much more tolerant, not emit toxic fumes when heated above 400 degrees by accident and uses heat much more efficiently. I've had games of T-Fal, anodized aluminum, cast aluminum, and flung them. I went to all stainless steel for improved performance and easier cleaning. A quick wash with the bartender's all it takes to keep them shiny and looks great!
