I always take the time to research all available information on the issues I have the intention to purchase. This set of pots and pans of sufficient information to make me feel positive comfortable making a commitment to purchase. I'm glad you did. My husband does a lot of cooking and he likes. I'll add one that does not stick to the pan to cook our whole scrambled eggs. Good setup for the money, heavy and solid. I'm happy with my decision to buy this product.
He was an All-Clad 4 Quart Sauté Pan with lid and an All-Clad 13-inch skillet for a long time … at least 15 months.
Like the 13-inch, all clad skillet by Cuisinart 12-inch skillet over simply because the 13 inches is the right size for me. I love the 4 Quart Sauté Pan with Lid All-Clad for its size as well. Do not change anything for them.
He had Calphalon Nonstick 10-piece set of eleven (11) years. Non-stick surface peeling some of the pieces was enough for me to throw them away and buy another set of cookware. I was convinced of two (2) All-Clad pieces I get stainless cookware. However, I did not want the price of All-Clad. Therefore, I did a lot of research in three layers of stainless steel kitchen.
I narrowed my search a Calphalon Tri-Ply Stainless Cuisinart Pro Multiclean I personally did not care for the glass lid Calphalon in three layers. I do not want something as fragile as her glass breakage during cleaning in the sink. Therefore, I chose the Cuisinart Pro Multiclean I chose the piece 12 in the Amazon without personally seeing the pots at all.
I excited when they arrived. I realized they were as thick as my All-Clad pans all the way up the sides. Do not have three layers only at the bottom. It was all the way up sides as All-Clad.
All-Clad has a polished exterior and brushed interior. Multi-coated Cuisinart Pro is the opposite – brushed exterior with a bright interior. I found on the inside polished multi-coated Cuisinart Pro EASY CLEAN my All-Clad pans brushed interior. TOP handled in the Cuisinart are not as great as All-Clad driving. However, the heat on the handles are nearly equal. The Cuisinart pot handles themselves are very nice and feels good in my hands.
I will not buy non-stick pans again. I am very happy with TRI-LAYER stainless all the way up the sides. By the way … the edge of the multi-coated Cuisinart Pro are well rounded to allow easy discharge the All-Clad.
I honestly believe that the Cuisinart Multi-clad Pro is a better pot Tri-layers all dressed in many respects, especially prices. However, I like the 13 inch pan All-Clad in multi-coated Cuisinart Pro 12-inch skillet WHY THE extra inch – a little more room for manipulation food in the pan.
The 12 piece set only comes with an 8-inch and 10 inch skillet. I bought All-Clad 13-inch pan apart from and before I bought the Cuisinart Multi-Clad Pro 12 piece set. Another reason I bought before it is just to see if All-Clad worth the hype. Yes, all dressed worth the hype, but not worth the price of each bread … just some pans … as the 4 Quart Saute pan and 13 inches.
