Tip wanted to alleviate blender problem?
I invited my brother and his wife to tea on Sunday. And changed the date once and do not want change it again. They are vegetarians and I chose (to discuss with them): Pumpkin Soup Falafel (with 3 different sauces) Salad chocolate ice cream (I have an ice cream manufacturer) also fruit salad I have a breadmaker to make bread for them, but recently bought and never used it before and I've heard many sometimes does not work until you experience the amount of water to add. I tried googling falafel and pumpkin soup recipes "without blender" and comes with recipes blender. A package like falafel mix well and can be made without a blender? Does anyone know of good recipes for pumpkin soup / falafel can be done without a blender? Does anyone know recipes for sauces that do not use a blender? I'm fine with ice cream, salad and fruit salad. Thanks
Pumpkin Soup Ingredients: 1 large onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable. oil 1 15 oz pumpkin 2C. 2C vegetable broth. Plain soy or rice milk. 1 tbsp curry powder 1 t. oregano or parsley. dry Salt and pepper to taste Croutons (optional) Preparation: In a large saucepan or pot, cook onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent. Add curry powder and parsley and mix well. Add broth and pumpkin and mix well. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Add soy milk or rice and simmer for 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Comments: Great on a cold winter day sprinkled with a few pieces of salted bread: Pumpkin Soup Ingredients: • 2 tablespoons margarine • 1 / 4 cup onion, chopped • 1 1 / 2 teaspoon curry powder • 1 tablespoon flour • 2 cups canned pumpkin 1 teaspoon brown sugar • • 1 / 8 teaspoon nutmeg • 1 / 8 teaspoon cayenne pepper • 3 cups vegetable broth • / 2 cups milk soybean 1 2 • 1-2 ounces tofu (optional for thickening) Directions: Sauté onion in melted margarine for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer simmer for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
