bread flour vs. regular flour bread made at home?
I have a breadmaker, and the manual gave some recipes. For a recipe, suggested use bread flour for a basic white bread. Is it so different from regular store bought flour bleached? Where I can get bread flour? What is the difference between bread flour and regular? Ten points for best answer. Thanks!
Easy answers for you. Gluten bread flour most commonly used forms Multiple (regular) flour. If the bread machine says to use it, by all means do. However, you can still use AP flour and goes to work. You can buy bread flour in any supermarket good (Kroger, Safeway, Publix, etc.) Hope this helps. PS. I almost always use AP flour when I make my bread, either white or Italian.
