Bread Maker Temperature
PANES not EVEN COLOR baking?
When baking sweet dessert breads (yeast raised) the color comes irregular and unattractive. This is the only type of bread that does not use the bread machine, and the type of bread they usually do. They are baked at high temperatures for a short period of time, Most breads, and have unique ways typical of other breads (eg, horns or chocolate buns) usually with a clear glaze egg, but does not make much difference. They are delicious, but come to look horrible. Can anyone tell me why are proving so, and what I can do about it? thanks!
its hard to say without seeing a picture or a recipe for bread. My first thought is that the oven is cooking without equal. My next thought is incomplete mixing and you can try several different ways to make a dark yet. Egg wash 1 egg and two tablespoons. water stirred together and brush the top of the bread. butter also can be melted and brushed to give a brown colored surface is drier than an egg. You can also use sugar water (simple syrup) if you less than 30 minutes baking. Good luck!
