Belgique Cookware Replacement Lids

Editor: A lot of people have trouble finding replacement lids, particularly the Belgique cookware glass lid if the number of visitors to this page is anything to go by (and ignore the Internet link to Macy’s, it does not work – I have tried it!)
Replacement Lids
Glass lids for cookware are extremely vulnerable and easily broken – as you may have already discovered. So, to be honest I do not recommend them.
My best advice is to choose one of the quality universal pot lids below, especially the RSVP Stainless Steel Universal Lid – it gets 5 Star reviews (SEE BELOW) for its versality and durability.

“Let me start out by saying, I don’t keep 2 lids of the same size just because one is glass and came with the pot and the other is stainless. I hate messing with lids. I pick which one of one size I want to keep and that’s it. Frankly I’m not a big fan of the glass ones… they are heavy and if I want to see what I’m cooking I can always lift the lid. So when I went to choose a universal lid, glass wasn’t an option for me………….”
“I recently purchased a Tools of the Trade Belgique Stainless Steel Skillet, 12″/6 Qt. from Macy’s. It came with a glass lid, which shattered into a billion pieces when I dropped it. The diameter of the top edge of the skillet is not quite 12 inches, so I was pretty sure the universal lid would fit. Well, this lid fits my skillet like it was made for it! I also use it for smaller pots and pans as well. The handle is stainless, too…so nothing to break if I drop it. I highly recommend this lid!”
